I was wondering if Armin would ever go back to producing underneath a different alias just like hes Rising Star. I know that alot of producers have different alias depending on the style of music they produce such as John O'Callaghan's Mannix or Roger Shah's San Antonio Harbour or even Sequentia's Sunshade.

Armin has always stuck with hes own name however alot of hes tracks dont always sound the same to other, buthat taking this into consideration not all of hes recent productions have distinct style. Armin has been under many alias but when is it going to be the moment when he releases a track underneath a different name.

Hopefully that message he left on Twitter is one of hes Rising Star mixes

Very much doubt it...Armin van Buuren is as much a brand now as it is his name. Fact is, a record will sell 1000s more copies if the uneducated audiance see Armin van Buuren on the CD or download title rather than the Rising Star or something new.

EDIT > actually i think rising star will still be used again....it will always be 'Armin's Rising Star remix' though so eveyone knows!

At the current rate of two Gaia tracks in nine years, it might take a while for that one to come about.

That's horrendous. I've got to about 2:45 and so far picked out Sweet Sorrow, Traffic, F Massif - Somebody (Ferry Corsten remix), Flight 643 and now the Eurythmics synths are coming in. A true kitchen sink job. (IMG:http://forum.arminvanbuuren.com/style_images/ip.boardpr/folder_post_icons/icon8.gif)

There are easier ways to get all three on the same record: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4AL3iCXJMM or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-9M6N1mg6o

I thought it sounded kind of cool, it's definetly not badly done.

Yeah, it's technically quite well-produced. It's just the idea of shoehorning as many of the big tracks of the biggest trance DJs/producers and then sticking in a big Eurythmics riff just in case it isn't already big enough is just trying a teensy bit too hard for my liking.
